A virtual guide will take you through the adventure, along with other explorers. And you’ll be working those knees since a bit of ducking is involved! Squat to navigate the pulse-racing pyramids, before witnessing the funeral of Pharaoh Khufu — the revered king who ordered the building of the first ever pyramid of Giza.
The experience is based on research from Harvard University
Professor Peter Der Manuelian and his team at Harvard worked tirelessly to collect valuable information about Ancient Egypt. Horizon of Khufu makes use of these studies, recreating the time period in stunning detail. Every costume, landscape and cultural reference you’ll experience during the VR journey is the result of years of research.
Horizon of Khufu is a captivating journey that transports you back to the ancient Egyptian civilization, and it’s now officially open in Calgary!
